This is for people who claim to believe in God. Those who don't should not take offense!
"A living dog is better than a dead lion."-Ecclesiastes 9:4
I wonder if they get it?
I'd like to pass this wisdom Scripture on to all those who wear bombs for clothes and think by exploding themselves and taking many with them, they'll get to Nirvana. They believe they are the Lions of their faith, because they are taught by men who have sold their souls to satanic forces for the promise of ruling the world with their kind of religion. A lowly dog can get to nirvana but not the terrorist !
Sadly we are all victims of the same Satan, for there is only one. Just as there is only one God.
It makes you stop and realize who the real enemy is. I want to see the terrorist evil eradicated and deep down would like to get a hold of that bastard who beheads people and do the same thing to him, as well as those who kill innocent children. The fact that I'd really like to do it, is of course proof that we all have the same evil force driving us. ...IF WE LET IT!...
What we have to do is remember what causes some of us to refrain from evil acts , while others do them with ease. The problem is we can't ever get a large enough consensus to bring people together from all factions to discuss it .... You want to know WHY? Because we can't ever get enough people to stop arguing their theories long enough to get together to debate the reasons for the cause, so as to find a solution. That's why war is inevitable. Too many different opinions not enough unity of any one theory to make it viable to do something positive.
Ignorance is what makes people fall prey to evil ! Not stupidity, that is far different than ignorance, too many think it's the same, it is not! A lot of very bright , clever people are ignorant of certain facts, because they know nothing about the subject , or have not studied enough about it to give a valid opinion. That doesn't stop a lot of prideful egotistical people from causing more confusion in society by making statements on topics they know little if anything about.
As for my opening "A living dog is better than a dead lion."This scripture is referring to people dead in sin. Those who are not believers, or who believe but not enough to do anythng about it.It is also pointing out that those thought of as the lowest, who are believers and practice their faith, are better than the highest, most honored people who don't have faith or have it and don't practice it.
You can be very much alive in body, but dead in soul and spirit which is what separates those who do , or do not refrain from doing evil. If you are a firm believer in God you cannot behead someone.I don't care what your religion teaches, there is somthing from within that will not allow you to do it, if you are a TRUE BELIEVER!
This is the crux of what the difference is between those who claim to know God and those who really do know Him. Those who truly know him are filled with His ghost. That's right , That term was replaced by Spirit to not offend those who believed ghosts were evil. I think it helps me to know the Ghost of God indwells me. I know He is able to share His love for us in ways that reach everyone who believes therefore His ghost, able to be multiplied since it is spirit, is how he lives with those who believe Him, and accept His ways.
People who have His Spirit know they have it, and know that when they do wrong the spirit leaves them on their own. It is a desolate feeling which we can't bear to have happen , so when we realize it , we quickly seek amends. People filled with the Spirit can sin, but they can't live in sin! There is a vast difference between the two. Satan can attack the believer, but can't get past the Holy Spirit unless the person lets their shield of faith down. Therefore the only way Satan can take residence in a believer is if the person completely denies their faith. If we keep our faith, even if it's as small as a mustard seed we are protected, so Satans effect on us is minimilized since he cannot indwell us.
An example is that the terrorist that can cut peoples heads off, who thinks Allah allows such things , is of course without the Holy Spirit, but rather filled with the demon spirit of Satan. So he can behead while I can wish to do the same thing to him, but could never do it. I choose to have the Godly spirit, while the terrorist chooses the evil spirit. For Satan has a spirit that can enter in also and indwell us causing us to live according to his will. It is that old premise we all learned in our youth the force for good and evil. It's in all the star wars films;-) Too many have regarded it as nonsense. Even now when they see it being played out every day in Iraq and other places in the world where terrorism is spreading around the world.
Ignorant people are playing politics with this horrific happening, Trying to make it a President or Prime Ministers fault as if it were in their power to cause such a thing. Wake up people! It isn't any one persons fault, it is the culmination of many factors forcing events that have been prophesied over eons! We should be uniting to pray and find solutions, but as I have said before, Satan with his clever deceptions has done a magnificent job of dividing us and we let him.
I wonder if we get it! If we do then there is hope, otherwise -----------

| Well there's nothing wrong with your message and it hold true all the same but i think the chapter in ecclesiastes, is Solomon questioning whether life is worth anything, ultimately he comes to the conclusion that life is better than death but everything is meaningless and our only purpose is to follow God. it's quite a grim cynical passage to study really but so true. I personally see the bush administration as detestable as the terrorists, both have hi-jacked their religions as a means of justification for their evil actions. In my mind there is no doubt that a large number of the population has been blinkered into accepting a greed motivated war under the false pretext of God's will. I firmly believe that politicians should talk to God when making decisions however I believe (perhaps controversially) that religion should never be used as justification for political actions. And to that extent religion and politics should be kept separate. anyone feel free to reply I'd be happy to continue a discussion and will check this page regularly. |

Insightful and so true. God lives in the souls of those who believe. He dictates their decisions and motivates their actions. As you stated, so well, a true believer will dislike what humans have done and are still doing to one another, but will not take anothers life, in the name of the Lord. The Lord does not want us to kill, Thou shalt not kill! He does not want us to take revenge. It is for Him to pass judgement, not us. These people belong to Satan, not God and it is with Satan they will dwell for all eternity.
I don't usually post my views on religion, I apologize, Eileen, but your article has woken me up this morning.
Thanks for sharing your views and faith.

Lovely views Eileen! I agree wholeheartedly with you. These people who do not have the Holy 'Ghost' in them, are the people who have no conscience! It is one and the same thing. The killers, in whatever so-called good cause they do it in, have most certainly been taken over and have become insane, quite literally. No room in their thoughts for the light of Christ. That is why they can live with themselves. But, just imagine how terrible the soldiers must feel, when they are fighting for their countries, and have to kill, or be killed.
Many a soldier, on each side has just looked at the other and gone on past, pretending not to have seen each other. This is documented. Of course they get into trouble, but they have the Holy spirit in them, which is having a good conscience. That is why it feels so bad, when, even accidently one does something wrong. The regret is very deep indeed!
I am going to write a story on this Eileen. Thank you for giving me this idea, it is about how some people think they are worshipping their God, but believe that Satan is who they are fighting, by doing their 'evil' deeds, they think they are saving the world.
Blessings, Rev Davey. |

Very, very insightful article, Eileen. I found it compelling. And you made a good point: To blame one person for it, is a simplistic way of looking at it. Vietnam lasted the term of four presidents and we hadn't completely evacuated our troops till the fifth. What makes any one think one person will put an ending to this one? Thanks for posting this.
