Why do we have to wait so long to learn the truth?
I had only one question this morning when I spoke to Creator "Why do we have to wait so long to learn the truth?"
Later that day:
I was preparing a meal, simple, delicious and very nutricious, Salad, a mixture of fresh greens with vinagrette, Rice with vegatables, and Shrimp scampi
I had my steamer, my wok my utensils, was chopping carrots, greenpeppers, mushrooms onions and garlic (for the rice)
I had assembled all my spices, olive oil, butter shimp I had cleaned earlier draining in strainer realizing there was something missing
I did a check over everything, realized I didn't have the bread crumbs for Scampi ready, my own recipe uses a thin coat of fine flavored crumbs sprinkled lightly on top for added substance
It was after I had all preparation done and meal cooking , that an answer to my morning question came, as usual all at once, like a light being turned on
When we are having company for dinner we want to serve our best, so we assemble all that will be needed to get the job done. We follow the recipe, ad lib if we are experienced enough, but always have at the ready all the foods and utensils and cook ware necessary.
That is what Creator did. Gave us life, put us on this planet which he had filled with all that was necessary to maintain life. He equipped us with all we would need to follow His plan
We are expected to do what He has asked us to, and if we follow His recipe we should be fine. However we don't do that. We not only ad lib, many don't even look at His recipe...
What we do best is ask him where is He ? Why doesn't he help us with this that or the other thing? What kind of love lets us suffer? Is He real? How can we believe Him, He never helps us?
We forget that He already did it all and gave it all it is the way we use it that makes the difference. When we learn to use it as He has taught, we may learn what prosperity means
Next time you're cooking ask yourself how it is that you will follow a recipe to feed your hunger, and please your taste, but you won't follow a recipe to save your soul...

How sadly true, Tiger Lily; and now many are far too gluttonous and greedy to follow that recipe that was so simple to prepare. |

What a wonderful reminder this is Eileen, as I was reading your inspirational words, I was thinking, if you don't mind, I will use a similar story line for my young Sunday school class...a wise lesson to learn young.

The problem is Eileen we have forgotten about God in our own selfish rush for instant satisfaction !
Our only hope is to repent and return to the Lord fortwith, before it is too late !
