MONDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 15, 5 P.M.-9 P.M., YOUR LOCAL TIME
"Golden Corral Celebrates 'MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT' ~~~~~ Golden Corral restaurants are pleased to announce its annual tradition of honoring our men and women in uniform, by celebrating "MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT" on Monday, November 15, 2004, from 5 P.M.-9 P.M. your time. ~ It's the least we can do to say, "thank you." ~ For your service and sacrifice, Golden Corral will be offering a free buffet dinner (including a regular sized beverage) to ALL active duty personnel, ALL veterans of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (including Coast Guard and National Guard). No ID is required; we use the honor system. Any non-military family member or friend will have to pay. ~ It's the least we can do to say, "thank you." ~ I have been employed with Golden Corral for nearly seven years, and have worked MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT each year. Be prepared: it will be crowded. (I think every veteran in the nine county area comes out!) But it is a good time. Smiles and patience are in abundance, as well as memories and tears. Every year, nationwide, over 200,000 veterans and active duty personnel are served. ~ It's the least we can do to say, "thank you." ~ As an ex-Air Force medic, I appreciate Golden Corral for remembering the service and sacrifice of its military members. Many did not receive a hero's welcome home, or even a thank you. Golden Corral has gone out of its way to salute each and every military member and I, for one, am most grateful. ~ Hope to see you all there! ~~~~~ (C) Copy written, 5 November, 2004, by Karla Dorman.

I love Golden Corral. It's great they are supporting our vets. I am getting hungry now. You have motivated me to get some good food.
Thanks, Karla

| I am sorry to say that our local Golden Corral was closed but the veterans in our area give out food to the needy at Fort Pickett. I deeply honor our veterans my brothers are veterans and when their sons come back from Iraq they will be too. |

A marvelous tradition you have going there, Karla. And I'm sure each and every valiant man and women in our Armed Forces in that nine county area appreciates it very much. And Kudos for working each of them since you've been there!
PS Can an old washed up ex- Air Force guy show up, too?! (Just Teasin!) |
