This is a proposed list of rights that US citizens should claim for themselves and demand from THEIR government.

In order to form a more perfect and righteous union, and to rectify decades of ill-conceived policies, we, the undersigned, decree, demand, and authorize the following to be carried out, and policies be codified in US law:

The American Citizens’ Bill of Rights

Article 1  Neither Congress, nor the president, nor any court nor government official shall make any law or policy that impedes or abridges the right of the people to pray to, to worship, or to thank Almighty God publicly at any time or in any place.  No law that results in an impediment to religious liberty shall be recognized by US law.

Article 2  A well armed and able citizen being the best defense and deterrent against crime, every household in which adults live, unless otherwise excluded by law, shall own at least one firearm for household defense.  Every adult family member must demonstrate firearm competency once per year.

Article 3  It shall be unlawful for any citizen whether actively or by neglect, to aid, assist, or cause, the death of any living human being or fetus regardless of age or estimated viability.

Article 4  Inasmuch as it is the fundamental unit of any civilized society, the marriage of one man and one woman shall be recognized and promoted by every state and local government; every US territory and possession.  No other arrangement shall be recognized.

Article 5  No judge, magistrate, jury, or elected official shall by decree or mandate, by edict or opinion, render a law or policy that is inconsistent with the Constitution as it was originally written.  The penalty for violation of this Article shall be the immediate and permanent expulsion from any government office for life, imprisonment for a period of 20 years or both.

Article 6  The right to vote in national elections shall be reserved unto property owners over the age of 21, who shall be required to demonstrate an elementary knowledge of the US Constitution.  US military personnel on active duty shall be excepted from the minimum age requirement.

Article 7  Every citizen able to do so, shall find and keep a legitimate paying profession or occupation.  The minimum income tax levied upon any citizen shall be 10%.
The maximum shall be 30%.  Income tax rates shall be determined by the people.  All existing income taxes laws shall be nullified by 2030.  A new system to fund the government’s legitimate work shall replace it.

Article 8  Congress shall make no law, pass any bill, or spending plan, which contains provisions not specifically relevant to the title.

Article 9  The terms of every seat in the US Congress and the White House shall expire on December 31, 2010.  No one found to have violated his/her oath of office by refusing to uphold the US Constitution shall be qualified to run for elected or office, neither shall he be appointed to any government agency or post.

Article 10  The 10 Commandments of Almighty God, being the basis for our laws and crucial to our existence, shall be prominently displayed in every government office, and in every public school in the United States of America.  No provision shall be made for atheist or agnostic worldviews.  Congress shall pass no law which is in violation of the 10 Commandments.

Additionally, in order to restore the people’s faith in their government, the following actions will be taken:

Barack Hussein Obama shall, within 30 days of the passage of this bill, shall produce a genuine United States birth certificate.  If unable to do so, Mr. Obama shall be expelled from the White House.  Until the election of 2010, the Minority Leader of the Senate shall act as president carrying out any and all duties of the office.

The salaries of members of Congress shall be reduced by 20%, and their staffing by 50%.  Any subsequent pay raise shall be subject to approval by the people they represent.  Congress members shall not be immune to any law they create.  Having been found hostile to the US Constitution and the rights of the people, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Barney Frank, Henry Waxman, Dick Durbin, John Kerry, Chris Dodd, and others in Congressional leadership, shall be expelled from office.  The seats they vacate shall not be filled prior to 2030.

Electors from the states of California, New York, Illinois, and Massachusetts, shall each be cut by one-half pending an FBI investigation into voter fraud.

The US borders shall be immediately closed, enclosed by fencing, and actively patrolled at all times.  Immigration shall only be permitted by policies in place in 2000.  Any person found to be residing in the United States illegally, shall be immediately deported at the expense of their countries of origin.

All spending except for the Armed Forces or civil emergency, shall be suspended until the election of 2010.  Only Secretaries whose offices are expressly authorized by the US Constitution shall be funded.

Mismanagement of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, having begun the current economic recession, will require that no loans be provided to a person or persons who are unable to repay.  No contributions may be made by either agency to any political party, member of Congress, or president.  The relationship of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac with the Senate Banking Committee shall be severed.  An independent agency comprised of one citizen from each of the United States, shall oversee the agencies.
