In 1902 Charlie and Bertha Daye ride from Cody Wyoming into the Crow Reservation in South/Central Montana counting wild horses in the Pryor Mountains for the U.S. Government.
Set in north/central Wyoming and south/central Montana in the early 1900's, Charlie and Bertha Daye go on a job for the U S Government counting wild mustangs in the Pryor Mountains of the Crow Reservation. They encounter a situation with wolves on their journey and decide to capture and bring back a few wild horses of their own.
