Inspiriation and perspiration of writing a novel.
Many people think that writing a novel consists of a divine inspiration followed by many months, sometimes years, of midnight oil. This may be true of some, but not of me. I start with an idea. I make a note of it, and let it germinate in my unconscious, often for a long, long time. Next comes research. This may by a question of weeks or months. In case or Yeshûa, it was many months.
The final phase is almost easy. This is where I return to my original inspiration, and let the muse guide me. The first draft may be completed in as little as seven weeks.
This is where work begins anew. Months and months of rewriting, editing, proofreading, commentaries and discussions. Then, at long last, the final version. I can breathe again. I can also sleep. Below is the result. See for yourself. I hope you like it enough to write me a short review on Amazon.com.
