When George Hamilton was just starting his acting career he was hired to play a rich man in a movie. "How do I act rich?" He asked the director.
"Go to the bank, draw out five thousand dollars and put it in your pocket," the director said. "Then you'll feel rich and you won't have to act."
This is a good example of how carrying large amounts of cash in your money clip and wallet can have an effect on you. The cash becomes a personality prosperity energizer of sorts. However, if you walk around with the fear of losing it, it will have the opposite effect on you.
As far as being robbed goes, I've heard more than one person say, after being robbed on the street, that they were glad to have something to give the robber. That way the transaction was handled quickly, sending the robber on his way.
I've also heard an ex-mugger say that a robber gets all worked up before choosing a victim and making his move. So if the victim doesn't have something to give him the mugger gets super angry and then violent. So just be happy that you have something to give the guy if the worst should happen.
And of course, you'll give him all those big bills in your wallet, sending him merrily on his way. But you'll still have the cash in your money clip to do what you have to do to get home safely.
And no James Bond karate here, please. Just survive the situation and get back to your loved ones.
