Learning to remove all the external clutter in life allows you to find the essence of who you are.

Arranging a bowl of flowers in the morning can give a sense of quiet in a crowded day - like writing a poem, or saying a prayer. Anne Morrow Lindbergh
We live in a world where the enjoyment of a quiet moment is a forgotten memory. We search each day for things to do or places to go and forget the value of simply being. The quietness of a moment spent in harmony with life is worth so many things or places. It rejuvenates the soul and allows our world to become grounded in the essential energy of life.
Not merely an absence of noise, Real Silence begins when a reasonable being withdraws from the noise in order to find peace and order in his inner sanctuary. Peter Minard
Its the noise around us that distracts us from our tasks in life. It is a continual barrage of interruptions and duties which all subscribe to that keeps us from experiencing who we truly are. This barrage prevents us from discovering our place in the world and our true nature as human. It prevents our connections with each other and instills within us the need for outer gratification.
Self-reliance is the only road to true freedom, and being one's own person is its ultimate reward. Patricia Sampson
It is when we stop the noise and the chatter and come to stillness that we truly discover who we are and we become free from the entanglements of outer distractions. We find freedom as a new path and from that freedom we unearth our true value. The distractions of daily life disappear and the winding path of our life becomes the path we follow.
A human being is only interesting if he's in contact with himself. I learned you have to trust yourself, be what you are, and do what you ought to do the way you should do it. You have got to discover you, what you do, and trust it. Barbra Streisand
Do you trust the path you follow? Do you know the quiet of freedom? Can you see within yourself who you truly are? In order to discover the answers to such questions you must become still and listen. Listen to the inner signals which contain the essence of who you are.
It is the creative potential itself in human beings that is the image of God. Mary Daly
Who are you and why have you come to live during this time in history? What can you accomplish in your life that you have never considered? When can you start to listen and thereby find your pathway through the noise and clatter that surrounds you? Finding the answer to these questions will bring you closer to your true image.
Since you are like no other being ever created since the beginning of time, you are incomparable. Brenda Ueland
Becoming who you are begins the process of finding your uniqueness among many. It gives you the courage to follow your dreams and to uncover within you the genius of your being. You will find your freedom among the many places and things you experience each day and will live more fully because you have found your true pathway.
As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being. Carl Jung (1875 - 1961), "Memories, Dreams, Reflections", 1962
Allow your light to shine brightly as you uncover the stillness of who you are. Allow it to become a beacon to which others are drawn. Allow it to signal your discovery of self and the desire you have to live your life freely, without distraction, with purpose, and providing your unique love to all who wish to become a part of your life.

| I know I come from God and am put on this earth til my time is over and have lots of work to do. That is why I am still alive. I try to help my friends and people each day and give a smile to everyone I meet even if they don't smile back. Most do though. Loved the writing and read all of it and commemorates lots of insights. |

| It is true that while being in touch with the self one gets a sense of quietness which is blissful and helps in relieving stress. Another meaning of simply being what you are to find the occupation of your liking without which all waking hours would be full of misery and life would become impossible to live. That is equally if not more important. |
