Reminicing of my home.
I can hardly forget the ever present galloping dog, our Labrador, Buddy, as he runs after the Garbage truck at 7 in the morning on Mondays and Thursdays going "Woof"! He is the most joyful thing and has to run out in the yard and bark and "fill his oats" to protect us girls in the house from harm. And when we vacuum, he hates the noise and barks at the vacuum, till we stop! Got to love him!
Then, MY dog, Foxxy, only barks occasionally, but when she does, watch out! She is a cute thing and looks like a fox. The vet said she is ten years old now. We thought she was only seven years. She is getting grey hair and shedding all over my room! I have to vacuum every week!
I love watching Mystery Television shows, like CSI Miami, Body of Evidence, etc. The science involved with the deaths fascinates me! Guess that is why I am into death so much.
Then, there is the ever present sound of bringing groceries home and unloading them from the car and then I will unload them from the sacks and put them away in the fridge or cabinets. Kristina keeps her car in the garage so there is always the sound of opening and closing the garage whenever she goes to and from work, and then of course when she goes to buy groceries.
I am in charge of Dishes, morning and evening, so there is always the sound of that! I enjoy it though, if my arthritis does not act up that day!
The Smells of the present have to be most when we cook. Kristina makes Macaroni & Cheese a lot so I am used to smelling that & getting hungry. However, it was nice this past weekend when Mom came home and made HOMEMADE Spaghetti for Kristina, her and I. WOW! She has not done that in years! Kristina and I have our "routine" and I make her eggs every morning at 5am. She says I am spoiling her! I just want her to have a good day. I like the smell of eggs and cheese. Sometimes I will add toast.
Life is good here in Texas.
