Kristof, Friedman, and Krugman of the New York Times have been doing their best to tell us that all is well with President Barack Obama, and the American public should stay the course because Mr Obama has been the victim of previous malfeasance and has inherited a legacy that even Superman could not have fixed.
Many issues confront a United States president and he has the power to effect dramatic change on many levels. A leader who governs by ideology alone and not from common sense is doomed to fail at all levels.
I, for one (and not just out of grumpiness) would have preferred my next door neighbour to be in the White House rather than the incumbent.
The first of Obama's mistakes is Obamacare which, although passed, is a dismal failure and is complicated beyond belief, with the American public being told: 'Once passed they would know what's inside.'
Bottom line - time and resources that should have been directed at a failing economy... the list goes on.
