MY TWO CENTS WORTH
By Myrtle Poor (c)
Greetings everyone in the name of the Lord. Let every one that has breath praise the Lord. There are so many things that we can find to praise God for. We see the big things He does for us and we praise Him for those, but do we ever think about the little things that He does everyday. How about the air we breathe? God made it. How about the food we eat and the roof over our head. It was all given to us by the Lord. God is the maker and creator of all things both small and large. I must say again what a mighty God we serve! He is awesome and almighty. Let us praise Him for the richness and fullness of His glory.
Psalm 46: 1-3. says God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in time of trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereo
Think about it! No matter how many tornadoes or mountain slides, earthquakes, fires, flood or any other trouble or strife God is always there to help us through it. He never leaves us nor forsakes us in time of trouble.
He gives us the exact amount of strength we need for every trouble He allows us to go through. He is our strength and our hiding place. I'm sure glad He was with me a few months ago during the illness and death of my niece and cousin. I have heard this so many times lately, if He brings you to it He will take you through it and I am so glad He is my guide in all things both large and small

IT HURTS SO BAD
By Myrtle Poor (c)
It hurts so bad, this grief I have
It breaks my heart in two.
I had a friend so dear to me,
That was loyal, kind and true.
A place I had within my heart
For this special friend of mine,
But he went away and left me here
And so my heart does pine.
Today he came to me in the early hours
All dressed in snowy white.
He said he came to say goodbye
Then he must take his flight.
He did not walk too many years
Upon this earthly shore,
But now he walks the streets of gold,
Over on yonder shore
