MY DAILY PRAYER
Dear Lord,
I come humbly before You thanking You for our daily bread and the blessings you have supplied us with for another day. I thank you for this beautiful day and the beauty that you paint all around us. Father, we can take this day and mumble and grumble about the condition we are in or we can take it as a blessing from You and rejoice and praise You for it. I choose to give You thanks. For Your word says to be content for whatever situation we find ourselves in.
My heart yearns to praise You today. You are a wonderful loving God. You are awesome and almighty. You are Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Almighty God and soon coming Savior.
I love You with a whole heart for You are the only God of this universe. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You are the God of Your chosen people the Jews. You are the God of Peter, Paul and the early Christians and You are my God also. Again You said in Your word that what the disciples did, we can do even more so. So nothing is different now than it was then except our faith. Jesus himself said that kind of faith came through fasting and prayer.
Father, You have given to each of us a gift and we need Your help to stir it up within us that we may use it freely. If we don't use it we will lose it, and God, I want everything You have to give me. Help me to stand under the spout where the Glory comes out, and that, my Lord, is at the feet of Jesus.
O' my precious Lord, I ask that You bless your people. Father, as I read the prayer requests every day I am stunned at the number of people that are going through trials and troubles. I receive fifty or more prayer requests every day when I open my email each morning and then they keep coming all through the day. There are now so many, Heavenly Father, that I can't list every name here, for if I did it would take several hours, but You know each person and their special need so I am asking You to meet their needs separately. Meet all needs spiritually, physically and financially. Lord, bless all Your people in Israel. Keep Your hand of protection upon them. Most importantly, save the lost of the world. Send someone to them to witness to them, that they might have a chance to give You their hearts. Bless the hungry, the homeless and the unemployed.
I know that You are able to keep that which is committed unto You. So I place this petition in Your big hands and thank You for the blessings that will come from it.
Now Lord I ask You to bless me that I might bless someone else. Just remind me to give of my time, my tithes and my seed faith and to always be an obedient and an humble vessel that I might stand ready to be used of You at any time. I accept healing for my body that I might be able to do that which you have called me to do. I ask for Your anointing and favor as I seek Your face daily.
I ask these things in the Holy name of Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. Amen.
