(1) Make a list before going grocery shopping.
(2) Your list should begin with fresh vegetables, grains, nuts,
and fruits, followed by other staples.
(3) Know which produce are in season and purchase them.
(4) Purchase unblemished produce, trimming defect will
defeat your super savings.
(5) Select lean meat to avoid cutting away fat, or worse,
feasting on fat.
(6) Look for fresh meat, poultry and sea food, they will have
less moisture, or liquid settled inside to weigh them
down; and besides, they will last longer.
(7) Avoid shopping for groceries when you are in a hurry.
(8) Invest time into reading labels on cans, packages, and
on frozen goods.

recommend any particular food brand for a good reason:
You select your own brands by judging the nutritional
information on the labels.
(10) Choose products which list the most fiber content; the least
fat, salt, and sugar and the most natural ingredients.
(11) Frest produce that spoils easily can be cooked, and stored
inside the freezer.
(12) Always check expiration dates, they shoud be current.
(13) Shop after you have eaten and on a full stomach. You should be
satisfied and not hungry.
(14) Check storage information and store accordingly.
