Sorry to repeat myself for those who know. But at the age of 19, when copyrighting my first book, a book of verse, BROKEN WINDOWS. "The Library of Congress" approached me for permission to publish it in audio form for their visually impaired visitors. That was 25 years ago. I started posting some of these old chestnuts on AD and was amazed at the response. Many thought I had just written the poem(s). So I guess they stand up. I have more now and have finished the manuscript. I just need to proof it. It has the same title but contains some new material.
Now comes the problem. I have never had a book of poetry published. Only fictional novels and I need some help from published poets as to what bookhouse would be appropriate. My last resort is going with my previous publisher, but I am not very pleased with them.
Any information and help, I'd appreciate. I don't want to pay to get published, if that helps. Poetry doesn't sell and I'd never make any money back, I spent to get published.
Thank you to all who respond. I really need advice in this very alien territory I am working in.
