We will never be able to grow mentally or spiritually untill we are able to expand the definition of who we are...the definition of self. But who are we? We are more than just mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, or children of God.
We are the product of our thoughts, we are what we think about on a daily basis. If we think negative thoughts we become negative, negative thoughts trigger negative emotions, negative emotions are killers of happiness and peace of mind, and leads to anxiety and subsequently depression. Negative emotions are fear, guilt, anger, jealousy, revenge, and worry.
On the contrary, if we think positively; we become positive. Positive thoughts stir up nourishing emotions, which leads to happiness and peace of mind. Positive thoughts are love, forgiveness, enthusiasm, faith, and relaxation.
As man thinketh; so is he. -The Christ...the greatest teacher of all times.
We are not who we think we are, but what we think; we are -N.V. Peale
