“Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, and said: by Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies” (Genesis 22:15-17)
Abraham was Highly Favored and God placed Himself under complete obligation because He knew that He could completely trust in Abraham.
The favor we receive from God is based on our willingness to do His will. (Matthew 25:15)
Prosperity is based on faithfulness to God, not on the size of our responsibilities; the smallest task in God’s work may receive a great reward if we are faithful in performing it. (Matthew 25:23)
We unknowingly violate one of God’s principles of faithfulness when we try to secure our possessions and not turn them over to God. (Matthew 25:26-30)
