Choose a Job you Love...
[Thoughts from ~burning woman~ by Sha'Tara]
Without history, philosophy is meaningless; without philosophy, history is irrelevant.
[The Ecolitan Operation - L. E. Modesitt, Jr.]
Somebody wrote: "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work another day in your life."
Isn't that like saying, choose world peace and you will never have to experience war in your life? You can choose world peace, sure. Just make sure you do all that is possible to get along with your neighbours, wherever they happen to be on the planet; help when you can and there you have it. Only problem is, do these neighbours want to get along with you? Do they reciprocate in kind? Or take advantage? Are they programmed to hate you because of who or what you are? Not so simple, you see, these choices.
Sure, you can choose a job you love, that's not difficult. But how do you navigate this wonderful job amongst the dead heads of topsy-turvy management that are only happy when they are messing with your life, controlling every aspect of it because only thus can they hide their lies, their cheating, their thefts; only then can they satisfy their sociopathic addictions to control just for the sake of controlling because they are dead inside?
I've worked for many decades at one job. It was, and remains, a job I truly like. For me, it doesn't get better. But if the time spent doing that job has taught anything at all, it's that getting to that job and actually doing it as it offers itself to be done, has been difficult and is becoming all but impossible. Enter micro-management, the New World Order's way, through the corporate bureaucracy, to put workers in an endless and impossible defensive position.
Daily now, I find myself fighting the stupids, the morons, the inflated egos, the ineptitude of the sharks desperately swimming murky waters in a shrinking pool of lunacy created by corporate mismanagement. I speak of the bureaucrats and plutocrats who, by virtue of being clueless about anything to do with what constitutes life, have but one claim to fame, that being the remarkable ability to make and accumulate debt in the trillions of dollars and all to be repaid, if at all, if ever, by those who did not incur the debt. These monkey minds are individuals who by using propaganda and lies made possible through control of communication technology and a prostituted media, have made themselves the virtual, if temporary, rulers of planet Dingbat, also known as planet Hurt.
And how did such ignorant people manage that? Through the brain numbing and polluting effects of global advertising; by causing the very same people they screw daily to worship them because of the power they claim to have. That their power is as transient and meaningless as the power of all megalomaniacs since the dawn of history is sadly not understood, or even glimpsed, by the sheeple who proudly fork out real money to buy and wear corporate slogans and name brands, unaware that all this accomplishes is advertise their own stupidity and ignorance of both, history and current events.
The days of jet-set, free-wheeling corporate execs with their sprawling global fiefs maintained by the worker slave market, are coming to a close and jobs such as mine are basically obsolete now. I know what the Matrix plans following the near-future staggering downfall of well-known financial institutions, brand-name corporations, and their centralized puppet governments world-wide, but I am not playing prophet today—not in the mood.
It's time for me to just sit back and let it happen. It suffices that I be aware of the coming events, having, shall we say, paid my dues through various social efforts to better this world in the past and having made peace with the results.
Besides, the Nexus is calling. The Universal Taxi's on its way and one cannot take any ideological baggage or other forms of attachments on that journey. And what awaits at the end of that journey? A job that I have already chosen and I know I am going to love doing. I also know that it too will have its detractors but at least now I know better than to have expectations.

| Regis, NWO has been aptly summed in Pete Schlosser's reply and includes much of my personal perspective on the issue. As per usual, you have provided us with a subject and venue to explore prospects, mantras and hypocritical theorems. I have a few acquaintances whose jobs are their avocations. That to me is probably as close as it gets to the "perfect job". One is an artist, the other a very wealthy business man/entrepreneur who loves the world of business. I enjoyed this very much my dear friend. May peace love and joy be always with you. Jon Michael |

I've learned to love my job in spite of it and bury myself in good deeds to the institution--often mistaking construed as inferior and improperly done. The money frees me to write this, and other things--my real job.
As usual, very insightful, Reg.

Reg,
Another wonderful write. Choosing a job you love isn't so easy this day and age, it's more like get a job you can get and make the most of it. You can bitch about the evils of corporate greed, shady politics, etc. and try to do anything to change it, but it's still going to be there no matter how hard we try.

| I know exactly what the NWO has planned. Fiscal austerity to obliterate the middle classes, open borders, false Gaia religion claiming we need to "save the earth" at the expense of humans using a pseudo-eugenics phony global-warming gone overpopulation threat, UN Agenda 21 biodiversity to smash private-property rights and horde everyone into over-crowded slum-cities under the club of constant surveillnace and cashless control to manage and bully every aspect of our private lives, a non-accountable, off-shore private world central bank to manage the supply and flow of fiat currency and a UN/ Interpol private corporatist thuggish police and military strike force to protect the elites and ram a machine-gun down our faces if we dare to get out of line. Should I go on? Enjoyed this piece a lot. Take care. |

Amen Regis! What a great thought - selecting something you LOVE to do! Sometimes we just need to think if our life were to end in 5 years where would we want to be between now and then and what would we want to do. Then DO IT!!!
Peace, love, and blessings,
John Michael D. |
