Two chickens solve a protest problem, advocating for the bottom line...their life.
Harriett: “Hey did you hear they are protesting against that chicken joint?”
Lulu: “It’s about time…I have seen more chicks go in that place, but they never come out!”
Harriett: “I hear ya! Aunt Penny was just minding her own business, when she got snatched up.”
Lulu: “There has been people yelling, protesting, and from what I see, there are a lot of unhappy humans.”
Harriett: “Yes, it is all confusing to me… I mean what do they really have to complain about?”
Lulu: “I know…they are not the ones at the end of a hatchet are they?”
Harriett: “Nope… but they keep going on about equal rights, belief systems, and banning this or that?”
Lulu: “You don’t see us Chickens walking about, squawking loudly!”
Harriett: “I know Lulu…but I have to tell you, we are at the bottom of the food chain.”
Lulu: “That is just not fare! Maybe we should start our own protest!”
Harriett: “Really? What do you have in mind?”
Lulu: “Well…I have been thinking about this for quite some time. If all us peeps band together, maybe we can stand against this eating of chicken thing and then they won’t have a chicken leg to eat.”
Harriet: “Yea but how do we do that? Those humans are hard nuts to crack."
Lulu: “We will have a Chicken Appreciation Day, inviting everyone, showing them how we are raised.”
Harriet: “You know you just might be right!”
