Hot Air - of another kind
9/23/2008 12:15:33 PM
When the going gets tough....
Only the tough get going.

I was dismayed to read George Will's column suggesting that John McCain acted like the QUEEN OF HEARTS from Alice's adventures in calling for the dismissal of Chris Cox, the present head of the SEC. Mr. Will obviously has not the nerve to callout those who could have pushed for a fix to the financial problem months ago. It was Cox's job to shake the trees and get reform going. Of course, the do nothing DEMOCRAT congress stands in the way of any meaningful CHANGE, and I cringe thinking of what they might do with Obama behind the White House desk. They talk of a deeper recession, but as of this last quarter, we are not even legitimately in recession.

IN business, when an employee botches up and causes the company harm, they can be fired. We need the same in government.

Maybe, George Will got hit by a foul ball recently and has had a minor bout of Democratic HOT AIR.
