Internet Funeral

When you have Internet friends, you become close to them in many ways. One day they disappear. Where did they go? What happened? Where and how can you ever find closure in the case of such loss? Over the years, you and I have become close Internet friends. One day, I will disappear from your screen, or you will disappear from mine. Where will we find closure ...
Consider a family of three who I know/knew on a game called Fallen Sword. They were ng261, KORDONA, and Fausta711. Fausta and Kordona were brother and sister. Ng was Kordona's wife. I knew Fausta and Kordona. Both were members of my Guild. Fausta and I were guild leaders, responsible for recruiting new guild members and outfitting them with proper hunting gear, and we actively advised them and helped them in having a happy experience in the game. Over time, Fausta and I became buddies, sharing gripes and gossip and jokes. Then she told me that her brother, Kordona, had fallen ill with, they thought, swine flu. He seemed very ill and Fausta and Ng were caring for him. Soon, Fausta said that she was ill with the flu, and her appearances in the guild were fewer and fewer until she stopped coming at all. I worried because the three of them were elderly, and they were a close-knit and self-sufficient family unit, being unwilling to ever ask for help from outside. I was able to check on their game accounts, and all three of them became listed as Inactive. A year went by with no word from any of them.
Ng had been a high-level leader in another Guild, where I knew the co-founder, Brassk. I sent him a message, asking him if he knew what was going on with them. Here was his response: [Brassk says: I know they were both old and NG fell really ill where she was really limited to play. Then she was gone, so I fear she passed away.] Ah, so our fears were true.
Directly following this, I posted a message to all of our guild members, since many of them knew both Fausta and Kordona: [[Mass from Condor0001]: This is for those of you who knew Fausta711 and her brother, KORDONA. I am afraid that both of them have passed away, victims of the pneumonia which morphed out of their bout with the swine flu. KORDONA's wife was NG, a high-level member of another guild. I went to their co-founder, Brassk, and asked him if he knew what had happened. This was his reply: "Brassk says: I know they were both old and NG fell really ill where she was really limited to play. Then she was gone, so I fear she passed away." KORDONA and Fausta and NG were a family, older, living together and they were very self-sufficient, until the swine flu. It appears that all three of them are gone. They are missed and our heartfelt prayers go with them.] This, Gentle Reader, is as close as we can come to a funeral for these friends.
Now, here on AD, we have Georg Edvard Mateos who has gone MIA for a long time now. His last email to me said that he was going into the hospital and he thought he might have pneumonia. Has anyone heard from him ... ?
