The U.S. Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday dreams of over 7.6 million needy children in 2008. That's a lot of children, but there are still many that they didn't reach. The Marine Corps also believes that with the help of a few more concerned citizens, they can meet the needs of an even greater number of needy children this year.   And we all know that in our abysmal economy right now, there are sadly far too many needy children.

And this Holiday Season, the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) is now partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots Foundation.

This year, you can help our Marines, help our needy children, and help our endangered wildlife, all at the same time.  Your gift of a symbolic wild animal adoption will help NWF in its continuing efforts to protect our nation's remaining endangered wildlife, and also bring Christmas joy to a child by introducing them to the wonders of the wild.

Needy children receiving a Holiday gift in this combined program will receive a plush animal, a certificate of adoption, an 11" x 14" poster of the adopted animal, and other items based on the donation level.

The annual U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Program and the National Wildlife Federation are both among my favorite organizations.
