Hello, dear friends! :0) - New Animal Stories!

Hey, it sure has been a long time, and I've missed you all, here! Well, but I'm back... and with a very special mission. As some of you may recall, I've been involved in the extremely demanding but even more rewarding activity of dog rescuing for several years, and as such, became the co-founder of a very special dog shelter, called "Parque da Terra Nova" (P.T.N.) - which can be translated as "New Earth Park" - where my first cousin (more like a sister) Paula and I, along with a very small but absolutely fabulous team, offer, in a safe and spacious haven, all the love and care that more than 60 special dogs so deserve. Why are they so special, if all dogs, all animals, all living beings are, indeed, special? Well... because these dogs are living beings that were treated like objects... unwanted, discarded as if they were trash, neglected, badly abused... and most of them are elderly, disabled, or forever carrying the physical and often emotional scars of a very, very sad and difficult past! But they are also special because... each one of them has a story to tell, a story they very much hope will be welcomed within the hearts of many readers. And this is my mission - sharing their stories with you all; their stories like many others... but special, because they have the special power to help us re-write many other stories... that did not have a happy ending, like theirs did!
