Interesting Twist to an OLD FAVORITE
7/1/2008 8:13:47 AM
I did post this to the RoundTable but no one responded so I have decided to start this. How INTERESTING old favorite books, even traditional children's books are in fact. This discussion is about "The Little Prince"

Hello to EVERYONE

I have just read or rather re-read a book that I was introduced to in High School (yes years ago). I have always enjoyed it a lot and a recently bought a copy with a bonus. It is a lucky and enjoyable bonus. The book -- "The Little Prince" by Antonie De Saint-Expery and the book also includes a trilogy called the  "Airman's Odyssey" by him. The trilogy is made up of two autobiographies and a fiction based on facts.
"Wind, Sand, and Stars" "Night Flight", and "Flight to Arris".
I highly recommend all of the books -- in this special one version or all separate.

Yes "The Little Prince" is truly enjoyable. The other 3 are surprizing. I am finished the first one, and the biggest item about it is that YES it all happened a very long time ago in the early part of the 20th centry. He lived from 1900 until 1944. He was a French Airpiolt and a Writer.

The edition I purchased is from the QPB.com book club. It is a very good quality and besides giving you these wonderful books, the rest is learning about Antonie De Saint-Expuery. It is how the stories, the adventures, the reality of his experiences and his fiction work in a way make the old saying "History repeats itself" is in a fact of truth.

I will respond and give more information to questions and comments. I look forward to everything. Do look up the information about his life. I will really like to see any of those comments.
Have FUN!!
