I’m going to flip the script and make this negative saying into a positive approach to the grief process. I TOLD YOU is a simple technique to assist in dealing with grief process.
I TOLD YOU. I-Identify. T-Talk. O-Observe. L-Listen. D-Do. You-Only you can do it.
In most cases, this method is already implemented, but I’m going to break it down step by step. Like the grief process, many may not take each level in sequence; others may only perform one or two. Remember this method is only a tool, one of many tools available to help to cope with your situation. These steps, by all means, are not to replace any professional advice. It’s merely a guide to assist.
