I have some questions

The curriculum for sex education for our children begins in 5th grade and continues through grade 7 wherein our children are taught everything from the what's to the how-to's and even given visual aides on the subject (including how to masturbate - yes you heard me correctly). How is it right then, that these same educators, after opening Pandora's box, turn to these same children and say, "now children, you should practice abstinence." A bit absurd, don't you think?
The grammar school curriculum also teaches our children all about drugs through the D.A.R.E. program. What the drugs look like, what instruments are used to smoke, snort, shoot, etc... the drug and so on. Now, these same educators turn around and tell these same children, "don't use drugs" after opening up a curiosity that otherwise may not have been there and worse yet, giving an education on how each drug is used. Interesting now, isn't it?
Great political preachers our teachers are. Most recently in Illinois schools, children have been banned from "hugging and high-fiving eachother" - common elements of human interaction and socialization - the basic core of humanity. What if you were told you couldn't give your friend a "high-five?" What if you were told you couldn't "give a hug" to let's say, your very best friend (for argument's sake)?
What exactly are our children being taught in schools? What precisely is the role of politics today in the lives of our children and what exactly are the schools gearing our children up for?
Pay attention people even if you don't have children, because today's children are our future. What are we looking forward to?
