How effective is your prayer life?
April 8, 2013 The priorities of the Christian community seem to be misplaced. We need to take an intermission. Don't go to sleep, just slow down from all the programs, plans and activities, in order to take a spiritual inventory, refocus, direct and analyze. Most of all, we need more prayer time. I have been a part of at least 9 congregations as I moved from one place to another with my husband. I have observed that the smallest "auxilliary" in the church is usually the prayer group. Why is that? Where did we come from? Where are we going and how do we plan to get there? What is our purpose? Think about that and ask God how you can make a difference.
