Publishing Process

I've received an e-mail that informed me that my publisher is back logged with books to lay out and design.
It is difficult to estimate how long it will take to design and text edit my book, but they roughly estimated some where
around 2 1/2 - 3 months before it will be in print. It will probably take a month for me to be assigned to a designer.
