Not every publisher is HONEST
I have been writing for oh so long and when you get kicked, it hurts, but when you get taken for a ride...especially by people you trust, it hurts. Years of my work has gone down the tubes because of dishonest publishing companies and false promises. SOME publishers prey on first time writers and take them to the cleaners. Why? Because they can. Most people don't have the money Mr. King has and can't afford lawyers to oversee their contracts and earnings. Instead, these authors pull away, lick their wounds and try a "different" publisher. I will NOT go away. My work will go on and I DO have a lawyer. Word of advice to other first time writers. IF it sounds too good to be true...IT IS NOT TRUE. Beware out there.
