If I've done one thing in my life...

Hi all. I just wanted to share a quick little story about what makes writing all worth it.
After having a successful run on Kindle, my romantic suspense novel, WIDOW'S TALE is now available in paperback.
In the grand scheme of things that may not seem monumental. However, I surprised my 92 year old Grandmother with a copy. Naturally, she had no concept of what a Kindle was, so was not really aware that my book was out.
When she received it, she immediately contacted her lady-friends and it was the talk of the town! After having the book only 12 hours she was already half way through it.
She later confided in me, saying, "You know, I never told you this, but every night when I say my nightly prayers, I always prayed that you would get published."
To give my Grandmother that book, and to have answered one of her prayers...THAT is what truly makes writing all worth it.
