Blogs by Joshua Scribner
Mostly ranting on a nonfiction book I read. 3/11/2009 2:39:17 PM No writing or editing today. I tried to write, but no interesting ideas came. Happens.
No word from publishers.
I finished reading Breaking the Time Barrier, a nonfiction book by Jenny Randles. Not real technical, so you don't get a real understanding of how time works, but it's a decent history of the concept of time.
Traveling into the future is obviously possible. We do it daily by growing older. And traveling into the future at different rates has been shown to occur. That is, if you took off in a rocket through space, traveling near the speed of light, while I stayed back on Earth, you would age slower than I would. I'm not thoroughly convinced that traveling into the past is possible, though. I'm not saying I don't believe in the possibility. I'm just saying I'm not convinced. Next, I'll be reading a book called It's About Time, which is a bit more technical.
Take care. Joshua Scribner
