I had sent the first two chapters and the last chapter of the first book in my Beyond Reception series out. The publisher got back to me asking to see the entire book and also the second book. Now I'm waiting on that and the potential pro rates pay for one of my flash pieces from another publisher.
I'm writing the third novel of the Mantis series and that's going extremely well. I should cross 20K tomorrow.
I just finished reading John Sandford's thriller Broken Prey. Very good. Nice, and disturbing. The only two others in that series that compare, up to Broken Prey, are Sudden Prey and Mind Prey.
