She comes to the ER with blackened eyes and a broken nose. She has tattoos from her ankles, up her stomach; up her back and on her arms…All the way up to her neck!
She is wearing a short, short top that verily conceals the bottom of her breasts and short shorts even shorter, if possible. Both garments are designers from an expensive store.
Her shoes are new Nike’s with airlift soles. She has four gold front teeth and a hairdo design that had to cost a hundred bucks.
Her fingernails are long, false and painted with gold leaf design. She answers a cell phone ring with her favorite R & B band as its ring.
Her watch is of real gold as is the chain necklace on her neck. Her earrings, belly button and tongue kabobs are diamond studded.
She has a pack of Marlboro’s rolled up in her sleeve. She is either drunk, high or both.
The Nurse asks her, “And how are you going to pay for your medical services today?”
She answers, “Ah’s on Medicaid.”
Now Folks, contrary to popular belief, Medicaid is not an Insurance Program as Medicare is.
Medicaid is a welfare program!
Now here is the question…Why should the taxpayer pay for medical care for the likes of this woman who chooses not to purchase health care? How is it that someone with thousands of dollars worth of tattoos, designer clothes, who wears expensive jewelry and who can afford booze, drugs and a cell phone with a designer ring qualify for a welfare program?
Is it any wonder that this Country is going broke?
