MUSINGS, MUTTERINGS, AND MEMOIRS 9/9/2010 2:46:56 PM I want a place to bring my writings on the web together with links:
On http://www.bookrix.com/-paulashene I have both children’s stories and adult short stories.
The writing of The Chronicles of The K-9 Boys and Girls on Locus Street are as of 9/9/10 free e book reads and will continue to be such until I remove one by one and publish so they can also be obtained in printed book form. All of the books in this series deal with serious issues in a humorous fashion
They are:
DIGGING BONES which won third place in the BoW contest and was the only entry that was a childs book. Digging Bones deals with the on going financial crisis.

THERE’S SOMETHING STRANGE… a children’s book on Lewy Body Dementia in grandpa. My husband was diagnosed with this condition, put on drugs which exacerbated his condition and he needed to go through detox to come back to early stages of the disease.

CHEN AN YO PALE which means ‘The Dogs Speak’ in Haitian Creole. This was written to raise money for the Haitian relief fund after the earthquake. This is the least humorous of all the stories so far and the illustrator insisted on knowing the ending before drawing the cartoon illustration. It does have a happy ending.

I WANNA BE… tells Sophita’s story and why she wants to be a star. This book took part in a contest about Hollywood and again, was the only children’s book entered
