Strong Sexual Satire: Rated PG-13 (since kids know more than we do about this stuff when we baby boomers were their age).
Premise: Why make public government statements about private lifestyle decisions?
Guess we all better start putting on our money, "In Gloria Allred We Trust."
Well y'all, I just read the recent news release about the two little ol' lesbian biddies (one 79, the other 83) who after shackin' up together for 51 years felt they needed to hush-hush into San Francisco City Hall to "marry" each other, closed closet door it seems.
Now I've got a thought or two to release.
I'd love to know whether or not anyone who feels the constitution should be changed to include same sex marriages as accepted by full society consider reading the entire second and third chapters of Genesis in the book called the Holy Bible; then compare it to anything remotely similar in the Holy Quran; then compare it to the nuclear family philosophies of mainstream eastern religions and come up with any kind of argument that supports what has been come to be known as "civil unions." According to these scriptural texts that support family in any religious book you can think of, (and I could be wrong but think not), there are certain kinds of behaviors considered abominations that keep the eternal spirit forever separated from the presence of the Almight Beings.
Hey, here's a thought! Since our nation seems to have nothing better to do, how 'bout a bunch of constitutional amendments that say families in America will honor right of the majority poor and middle class people such as:
Decent Housing in safe neighborhoods;
Neighborhood Policing of the Neighborhood Police;
Being Taxed for the Property We PAID FOR;
Unlimited Affordable Education;
Minimum wage that starts at $11/hour;
No salary caps for educators;
Amnesty on college loans when your corporation moves to another country;
Sports Professionals and Hollywood Stars who live paycheck to paycheck like the rest of us;
Available Healthcare paid for by 90% of the total of all inflated hospital CEO salaries in the nation;
Choosing NOT to take the SAT test if you're smarter than the people who put the tests together;
A hold on all NASA spending that doesn't deal with planet Earth first;
The irradication of "at will" job dismissal;
Anyone who runs for president that is a greedy oil monger and does not honor the beauty of nature;
The ability for an employee to "dismiss" their boss for unethical behavior;
REAL LIVE Non-discriminatory Employment;
Protection from Sexual Harrassment;
Lottery winnings divided among ALL purchasers, not just the ones who hit Powerball;
Protection for Women and Children from Abusers;
Dealing with U.S. insurance companies, pharmacies and televangelists to keep them from robbing people blind;
(and last but not least). . .Transportation courtesy of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street Executives who get paid WAAAY too much and can't understand why we need protections of those who want to go to Canada for Health.
Now if people want to date, kiss, feel up on in the jacuzzi, skinny dip with and marry their own sex; if Britney Spear's panties somehow "malfunction" and get ripped on in next years Super Bowl by Janet Reno, or if Ted Kennedy and Bill O'Reilly elope to the Virgins Islands together, WHO GIVE A FLIPPIN' RIP!!!?
So if our government and its high and mighty moralist can't find anything more worthy to spend our congressional tax dollars, just do us all a favor and shutup about Sally and Susie. My nation has bigger issues to deal with, unless gay people start hiding sex toys of mass-turbation destruction.
Well, I've vented now. And it felt almost as good as sex.
