The Poison of Pain

Pain is a reflection of not accepting who we are and allowing our minds to judge and define us. The mind scrutinizes selectively, but it cannot be totally discerning. It is 2D, whereas the heart and feelings are 3D. You suffer most when you cannot control things or people the way you want to. Your mind says you should be able to but reality says otherwise. Your mind is born in the pain of separation from the total self.
Everything is given to you in life that you need at the right time. The mind says NOW. This lack of power to get what we want, when we want it causes confusion. Our needs and the way we compare ourselves to others causes us to believe that we should have what they have NOW, and that we may even be more deserving than they are. It is this comparison to others and our lack of awareness and discernment of life that aggravate us and blind us to the wisdom found in waiting.
Life will provide everything for your good and growth, if you allow it. It will nourish and teach you, and prepare you for better things. If you listen to the pain and insist that your way is the only way to stop the pain, you might achieve this goal, but you will never satisfy the pain. The pain cannot be satisfied by anything other than to let it go and trust and accept your reality. All of your life you may have been taught you have to fight for what you want, that you are in pain because you have been denied. The truth is that you are always in pain because you deny the deep self and its ability to provide what you need in its time.
Pain is always created when you run away from the reality of self. You have no pain when you are totally in acceptance of self. This true self only appears when your mind takes a back seat to the deeper reality that you are. Pain is the result of trying to become someone else, rather than to discover and allow your real self to emerge from within.
