A new Skin

Today I am looking to put on a new skin, the old one is worn and wrinkled. Now don't get the wrong idea I am not talking physical skin but more an attitude. Today, I shake off the old and leave it hanging on a limb like the snakes do! I have removed the blinders from my eyes, have seen the true light as never before, no more playing like I cannot see the the crimes and the pain, no more letting others pull my strings making me dance like a puppet. today I am renewed and gonna be totally selfish and love the me inside, the me that is good and kind and worth being respected.
