I am an American and I ain't takin'it no more! 3/23/2010 3:44:19 PM keeping America strong I watch Glenn Beck every afternoon at 5. I never miss because I copy it if I am not home. He has managed to remind me of the things I was taught in civics and political science. Those things aren't taught now. I thing most schools have taken civics and government out of the curriculum and the colleges are mostly left leaning. Every day now someone I have known since my teen age years opens his mouth and lets me know, in no uncertain terms, that he is a liberal. Not just a liberal but a flaming liberal. I have heard about Social Injustice and social equalization until I could spit. I am sick and tired of it. People came here in the first place to get away from something else. My own family came here to find religious freedom. In a country of Catholics, my forebears had the nerve to be related to Martin Luther. We also had the nerve to follow him in his walk to the front of the church to nail up his treasties. We were invited to leave the country or be walled up in the walls of our family keep. Others came here for religious freedom. Some came for freedom from oppressive governments. What ever we came for, we ALL came for something that was worth fighting for. Now a small group of people who have wanted for years to tear down the structure of the United States has managed to gain a foothold in our government. Anyone who thinks it is just a strange co-incidence that Obama was an avowed Marxist in college is nuts. The man admits in his own biography that he co wrote that he sought out these fringe groups. He has made and maintained friendships with people who have been involved in government subversion in the past. He pals around with people who openly avow Marxism, Socialism, communism. He doesn't even see anything wrong with what he is doing. In the name of equalization he is advocating taking from those who have and giving to those who do not have. He makes no adjustment for whether or not these people who do not have are even trying. This is an abomination to our forefathers. We have sat on our complacent butts and let ourselves be pushed around and told how to think and what to say long enough. These people who have just stuffed this health care bill down our throats were elected by US to do OUR will. Let's unelect them and show them who's the boss.
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union. Establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare ......
do the reasons for establishing the constitution not matter anymore?
