Generally, my type of movie is a drama with intense relationships, full of communication with depth and a story that makes me think, feel and ponder. So I pretty much went to see 'MAMMA MIA' with an attitude of 'at least it will be in a cool theater and I'll enjoy ABBA's music' . . . But it was so fun, enjoyable, and it took me back to yesteryear! That long ago youthful girl stirred within me. The story, the setting along with the music captured me, not only for the hour and fourty minute movie length, but I couldn't relax enough to sleep last night. In my head I kept singing, "I am the dancing queen, young and free, only seventeen . . . . . . "
To all the Baby Boomers, I highly recommend it . . . I am sure other ages will enjoy it as well. But to the Baby Boomers, it will give you a couple hours of yesteryear and surely leave you reflecting!
