I ACTUALLY MISS MY OLD BEATUP TYPEWRITER AND OHHHHHHHHH MAMA MIA MAMA MIA WHAT AN AWFUL MOVIE
Wellllllll you know the economy is not really that great and my boss Petros is so stingy that even if the economy was at full blast I probably wouldn't get any kind of pay raise. I mean I'm tired getting paid per hour ABOUT WHAT A GALLON OF GAS CURRENTLY COSTS. So anyways there's this new mall in Sherman Oaks just opened with all kinds of movie theaters and shops and food places and all that. AND OF COURSE THEY NEED EMPLOYEES. So with my distiguished 'food service' experience maybe I can actually apply to one of those restaraunts and actually get a 'pay raise' if I get hired. FACE IT WORKING AT ANY PLACE WOULD BE LIKE GWETTING A PAY RAISE COMPARED TO CURRENT CHEAP STINGY EMPLOYER.
Sooooooo I get a bunch of apps at all the restaraunts and food service places in this mall and start filling them out by hand WHEN I REALIZE THAT AN EMPLOYER WOULD PROBABLY BE MORE IMPRESSED IF HE OR SHE SAW A NICE TYPEWRITTEN APPLICATION THEN ONE SHOWING MY SLOPPY HANDWRITING. THE ONLY PROBLEM I SOLD MY TYPEWRITER A WHILE AGO TO HELP MAKE ENDS MEET. I HAVE NOT USED A TYPEWRITER SINCE. I THOUGHT TYPEWRITERS WOULD GO THE WAY OF DINOSAURS, YOU KNOW GO EXTINCT BUT FOR TYPING APPLICATIONS OR OTHER PREPRINTED FORMS THEY STILL KICK ANY PC OR LAPTOP'S 'REAR END.'
Anyways I decide maybe I'll buy an inexpensive typewriter and my problems will be solved BUT GUESS WHAT? THERE AREN'T TOO MANY STORES THAT SELL TYPEWRITERS THESE DAYS AND THE ONES THAT DO CHARGE AN ARM AND A LEG. SO IT'S EITHER TURN IN THESE APPS FILLED OUT WITH MY SLOPPY HANDWRITING ORRR TALK TO MY GOOD FRIEND ALOCKI THE COLLEGE PROFESSOR WHO BELIEVE IT OR NOT STILL USES A BEAT UP OLD SMITH CORONA TO TYPE HER PAPERS. I was pleasently surprised when Alocki not only said yes that she would type my apps but refused me to pay her for her services. She told me she would do the work because I'm her friedn and I'm young and need to get a foot on my career and needed to save my money. What a good friend that Alocki is. I was gonna give her at least five bucks to type my apps.
OHHHH MAMA MIA MAMA MIA WHAT A FORGETFUL MOVIE 'MAMA MIA' IS. PLEASE MERYL AND ESPECIALLY PEARCE STICK TO ACTING. DO NOT TRY TO SING OR AT LEAST HAVE YOUR VOICES DUBBED BY A PROFESSIONAL SINGER. NOW MERYL WAS A LITTLE BIT DECENT WITH HER SINGING BUT PLEASE PEARCE.....GO BACK TO BEING 'BOND' WHICH YOU WERE BEST AT.
Actually 'Mama Mia' was so bad it was actually quite funny at times. I don't know if I was laughing or crying when I saw this movie. I expected a beautiful movie sung by one of my favorite groups, ABBA (WITH THEIR VOICES). Instead what did I see a comedy in which people LAUGH AT THE ACTORS NOT WITH THE ACTORS?
Mama Mia was so bad that after thirty minutes I felt walking out and screaming MAMA MIA MAMA MIA I'VE SEEN ENOUGH. I FELT LIKE A 'DANCING QUEEN' WHO JUST WANTED TO DANCE OUT OF THAT THEATER. Mama Mia was so bad that I DO I DO I DO wish I had asked for my money back. Mama Mia was so bad that after one showing they need to get take every film can and dvd of this movies and bury them deep under the ground in that desolate Greek island where the movie takes place. Mama Mia was so bad that people in the audience were screaming SOS SOS to the projectionists and demanding something more entertainig be shown to replace it. Mama Mia was so bad that if we could go back in time and given copies of the movie to Napolean all he had to do is secretly shown the movie to his enemies and he would have won the BATTLE OF WATERLOO. His enemies would have been too sick to fight.
Actuslly the movie I really wanted to see was THE DARK KNIGHT BUT THE I DID NOT FEEL LIKE AGING ABOUT TWENTY YEARS WAITING IN THOSE RIDICULOUS LINES TO SEE THAT MOVIE. The lines for the Dark Knight were so long that if you just turned 20 which appeared to be about the average age of the audience by the time you sat down to see the movie you would be old enough to go to a bar. The lines for the Dark Knight were if I would have watched the movie I would have borrowed a scooter and driven to the end of the line as opposed to walk so as not to hurt my feet. The lines for the Dark Knight were so long that if I left my boyfriend Biff to 'save my place' so I could go to the potty I would have needed one of those 'GPS directional finders' to locate him when I got back. So I saw.......Mama Mia.....which perhaps for reasons explained above did not have any lines..... instead. I'll see Dark Knight next week.....
Speaking of ABBA perhaps I need to go to a place like Sweden. SVEDEN SVEDEN, home of Ingmar and Ingrid Bergman and where they make great movies and maybe the Swedes unlike American director and producers...will appreciate my acting talents.
But maybe not. I mean if you see a Swedish movie, just like a French movie, PEOPLE ARE NAKED AT SOME POINT AND I'M NOT THAT KIND OF A GIRL............
SPEAKING OF NAKED YOU PEOPLE REALIZE 'DEEP THROAT' IS THE MOST PEOFITABLE FILM OF ALL TIME?
I trulytrulytrulytrulytrulytruly...I trulytrulytrulytrulytruly... I just like doing that. It makes me feel good.
Speaking of 'potty' a much much more entertaining than Mama Mia Australian 'mocumentary'about a fella named 'Kenny' about a fella who made a living maintaining and cleaning 'portapotties'at big events also came out. IT IS SOOOOO FUNNY. YOU PEOPLE REALIZE THEY HAVE BIG TIME 'PLUMBING AND TOILET CONVENTIONS' WHERE THEY SELL ALL KINDS OF 'WASTE DEVICES?' A LOT OF MONEY IN THAT. ALWAYS A NEED FOR THOSE PEOPLE'S SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE ECONOMY. WHO KNOWS IF I CAN'T MAKE IT IN HOLLYWOOD MAYBE I'LL LOOK INTO THAT KIND OF BUSINESS. I'M FROM THE MIDWEST AND DON'T MIND GETTING MY HANDS DIRTY. BESIDES AS A STRUGGLING WAITRESS/ACTRESS I HAVE TO DEAL WITH A LOT OF PEOPLE'S BULLS-----T ALL THE TIME. MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR NOW.
