Campaign 2008 3/3/2008 9:31:51 AM McCain
Clinton
Obama
I hate politics. But there is a high energy in Campaign 2008 which I have not felt in many decades. Young people are engaged. Old people are engaged. Whites and Blacks and Mexicans are engaged. Will Obama dump Clinton? This is a hot "Reality Show." Our nation is energized by "Change" and McCain might as well stay at home and sleep late because he does not have a ghost of a chance in the final election process (because he is a reflection of past Bush politics and is dirtied by that). Media gurus say that Clinton will quit if she fails to win the Texas and Ohio primaries. Mistake. If Clinton stays the course, the final election process will be a hell-bent-for-leather race between her and Obama right to the finish line (and McCain will be a spectator). Clinton may challenge the delegate assignment following our Texas primary. Mistake. Such a challenge will only make her look like a "poor loser" in front of the voters. Clinton should pay strict attention to the simple popular votes in this instance. No matter what poll you look at, Obama and Clinton are showing stats which are way too close to call, one way or the other. If both of these candidates stay in the race for election, we are going to see an awesome fight to the finish. If Clinton does back out of the race, we will see the excitement die down.
If this does end up being a hard race between Obama and McCain, we will see an interesting debate, indeed. Those who know McCain and his history will know that McCain has a very bad temper, and McCain has kept his temper out of public view during recent public appearances. This man is known to turn red in the face and spew cuss language which would make the Devil blush. But, McCain has recently been keeping his temper under control. The Republican National Committee is currently proud of McCain. But, here comes Obama. Obama comes from South Side Chicago - down and dirty in the streets. Obama can play the deadly "dirty-dozens" easily and make McCain go crazy (on camera) on CNN and C-SPAN in front of the nation's voters. McCain is an ideal weak victim for a predator like Obama. If we do get to a simple Obama vs. McCain debate, you are going to see devestation where you expected to see politics. This will be bloody.
McCain is a continuation of Bush politics. Beyond this, McCain leans on a POW event.
Clinton brings her husband's policies to the table, and him as well.
Obama brings untested and untried "Change" ...
We are going to elect a new president, and this process promises ...
I hate politics!
