The Key to Success!
2/17/2009 11:15:06 PM
The 'City of Gardens: The Other Side of the Fence' is destined for success! Taking account of a well planned book combined with heavy advertisement and media coverrage, it has the marking of being a very successful book. With less than two weeks before the official launch, the book is already making noise.
I have sent the book out for review to compliment and follow up on the release of the, City of Gardens: The Other Side of the Fence'. I followed the marketing steps to a tee and it is working exceptionally well.

My brother-in-law gave me some great tips regarding advertising and printing ideas to save money. He is in the printing business and knows all the ins and outs.

It has been suggested to me to also sell my other books as well at the book launch. I am not certain yet if that is something I want to do at this time. I want to concentrate on the new book right now.

If this event is successful, I will host another event to include all three books. The idea is to create a buzz about the new book first. Keeping myself focussed is the best way to go for now.

The media is biting and so is the public. It does take a lot of planning and preperation before hand to launch a successful campaign.

I was told today by a supporter that the timing of the book release if perfect which coincides with the inner workings of the city to end homelessness.

There are several media outlets that are doing a story about this book and the the up-coming book release. TV, radio and newspapers are covering the story. In conjunction of the 5,000 flyers being distributed, we can easily assume a full house for the book release on March 1st.

Being complimented by several reviews, this may become the lead story for 2009 in Victoria. I even gave a city councillor a book to review.

You have to think on all levels. Free books to influencial people is a safe investment. It is money well spent. 'The City of Gardens: The Other Side of The Fence' has already created a buzz at the right time before the official release.

Internet publicity and keeping up with the news is another way of getting the word out. There may not be any sales, but the information is getting out there.

People are interested in what we do in planning and execution of the campaign so they can also include these tips in their own project.

Not everything has to be about money to be successful. A careful balance is required for a successful campaign. Delivery of information is the key.
