Now you know
9/19/2010 9:59:20 PM
This is how it all began
As you have seen in my recent blogs, comments and images of what I write about. It is a controversial subject and I am not the nicest person when I write. I write with passion, determination and am not afraid to speak my mind. I invite writers, readers and all those interested to join me to write about things that are important to us.

My writing started durung a nine month mental breakdown that consited of hallucinations, dellusions, soaring highs and crushing lows. I was not yet treated effectively for my illness. I resorted to heavy alcohol consumption just so I could see the next sunrise. The alcohol did what the medication didn't.

My first unpublished witings were what I believed to be The Third Testement. I was God's messager doing his work. It was my destiny to spread the message for the world to change thier ways before Judgement Day. My doctor told me that the whole book was written in a psychotic state. I slept 3 - 4 hours a nigh, ate a piece of bread and cheese every two or three days and never washed myself.

I was hidden in the office relentlessly day and night for nine months. Intead of being strapped to a gurney, I took my maddness out on paper.I should have been committed, but because I was hidden by the four walls of my office, it did not alarm the public or police. The heavy alcohol use was enough to keep me off the streets and out of harms way.

Once the medications took effect, the writtings stopped, I took a shower, I ate a pork chop dinner and slept about 16 hours. This was just the beggining of the healing process. With this event still very clear in my mind, I decided to write a fictional book with the main character having bipolar disorder and being an alcoholic. I wanted to introduce this maddness to the world using a fictional character.

Some of the content of the book mirrored my experiences during very troubled times. Again, I wrote the book in nine months fueld by alcohol. It was written from cover to cover with one stroke of the brush. It was never edited or revised before being self published in the raw. I was very manic at the time and the message could not wait for completion.

A couple of years later, I wrote and self-published a biography / tesimonial of my life with mental illness and alcoholism. The work is harsh and raw. The brutal honestly makes grown men cry like little girls. Alcohol was again a factor, but the mental illness was calming down.

Finally, the latest book was about how mental illness, addiction and homelessness affects Victoria, BC, Canada The mental illness is now fully under control. The drinking got worse and I damaged my liver. I decided to write a ten book series based on the premiere edition.

The very first writings are clearly visible in the three books that followed. That experience scarred me forever. It changed my views, morals and beliefs, Now, I still truely believe I was put on this earth for a reason. I am still to deliver a message and do God's work. I have been permanently changed by a nine month psychotic episode.
