I'm on the countdown 3/17/2007 9:41:26 AM Happy St. Patty's Day to everyone!!!
As I sit in my home/office I glanced at the calendar and took special note that in 13 days I will be retired from a very enjoyable career in broadcasting, as well as many years in the field of sales, management and training, mostly sales people.
Wow! where did all the time go?
My feelings now are mostly filled with the idea that we never really quit working. For those of us that need the additional income, we just reinvent ourselves in different areas. I've had to do a lot of reinventing over the years so it will come as no surprise that it will happen againl.
I'm glad I've had the life I've had, even through the tough times, those tough times were probably the things I used most as part of my schooling in what or how I would face my next challenge.
The good times I'll savor and get to use those times as 'story time' when someone wants to know what I did good in my life...I 'spose in the final analysis, I would have to say that it was all good. And, thanks to all those along the way that had the foresight to take me along for the ride.
I can't wait for the next chapter.
