From my 6th floor balcony

Good news! the weather guy is forecasting at least one clear day for this holiday weekend. Based on the wet streets below, cloudy skies above, and sore joints in my knees, I'm betting the ranch that Sunday will be 'the good day.'
Yesterday I received some good news, but can't reveal it until one day next week. Stay tuned.
This should be a quiet weekend, not too much going on. This morning I lead the weekly discussion group, clean the apartment and fit in an hor or so of writing.
Sunday, meditation group, really enjoying this new experience. Early Sunday evening I'm having a friend over for one of my 'Dinner at 6' events. The menu includes: Baked Chicken Breast over pasta, served with a bolognese, veggie, and concluded with a tasty sorbet. Ice tea or coffee to drink.
Monday, I have given the staff the day off. Wait a minute, I am the maid, chauffer, cook and cleaner...guess I'm on my own.
