A Glimpse of Heaven

A man who has faced tremendous loss is given a glimpse of heaven.
Today is kind of a down day. I knew that loving the story I wrote and self-publishing didn't mean that others would feel the same way about my story. But, I thought that I could count on friends and family to support the effort. Well, to date I have sold a total of 3 copies. My friend warned me about having a 'thick skin' when you dare to put yourself out there... now I understand. But, I won't let these feelings interfere with my desire to write and see my words in print. I hopefully will publish my collection of 4 short stories in the next two months and I continue to work on my next novel titled, When Pigs Fly.
