Walking with Sad

Ever just feel sad? There's so much around that you would like to change, so much you would like to make better or solve, and you just can't. You're reminded that you are just a tiny being in a grand universe that, like or not, you have little to no control over. In fact, you realize are control-challenged. I hurt over my grandmother's decline and the realization that soon her life might be over. I hurt over a friend who is one of the best people in the world has been given a death sentence and there's no promise for improvement in site. I hurt over watching the ones I love suffer and know that I am powerless to help them. I am sad. There's no pill, no drug, no amount of food or other bandaid that can resolve this. Sometimes you just have to embrace your "sad" and walk with it until you're just not sad anymore. I'm walking the best I can ....
