Monkey See, Monkey Do

If you want to feel free, take the monkey off your back. The only reason why it's there is because you've turned it into a backpack, loading it with whatever you can grab and make it heavier, help it take its toll on your health, your soul, and on your entire outlook on life. Take it off and set it free. The monkey will always be the monkey. It's being true to itself. It's being what it is. So, what are you? When you answer that question, when you decide you're tired of being the monkey's beast of burden, then you can walk upright like a human being again, and see the world again, instead the view from underneath a shoe. Easier said than done, it's true, but once done, you'll never forget the day you set the monkey free and got on with living your life. Peace to all of you. May your monkeys remain in their respective places and may your walk in the best of graces!
