Yesterday's high and low lights/Day 3 and counting:

The Bad News:  Scary Purse Girl With The Dirty Corduroys And The Spiked Sandals lives in my apartment complex in building one.  She's in my Philosophy class.  Yesterday, her friend dropped her off and then nearly T-Boned my car into the dumpsters on the way out of the lot.  I almost didn't make it to building three and I really had to peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 

The Good News:  Yesterday was day three, and I'm starting to recognize faces and have the names that go with them.  So, pretty soon, I can stop referring to people as The Guy Who Reminded Me To Download And Print Out The First Act of Julius C, or Scary Purse Girl's Friend Who Almost Killed Me, or Young Woman Who Reminds Me Of Daughter Bekah, or Bookstore Guy-kid Who Needed Help Filling Out His Parents' Check To Buy His Books, or Goth-Gal From Art and Arch or ... Scary Guy With The Rolling Suitcase Who Once Talked To Me In Student Services Three Months Ago And STILL Scares Me, or ... 

The Good, The Bad and The Continuing Saga of Ugly:  This is a long day for me.  Tues/Thurs are a rip on my brain and energy.  I get up prior to dawn and work for 4 hours, then go to school for 4 hours, then come home and work for 4 or more hours, and then study/prep/write for 3-4 hours to prepare for MWF's .... which I just realized are also very long days!  Where there is middle ground, I plop down on my laurels and contemplate what it might be like if there were 50 more hours in a day and just one more day added to the tail-end of the week! (a do nothing day during which I would of course try to reconnect with my family and get some laundry done!)
