the perfect pair of jeans:  i read somewhere that the average woman tries on one-jillion pairs of jeans in her life trying to find the one pair that fits.  there is even a company, levis?!?!? or some such, that will take your exact measurements, jam it all into a computer and come up with a pattern to build you the perfect!!!!! pair of jeans exact to your proportions. i'm not sure if this is still being done, but when i read it a few years back, i was thinking it would be worth the 70+ dollars for the pair of pants.  i have struggled with jeans, slacks of any sort for years.  my 10-year-old daughter and my now 18-year-old daughter, struggle the same as we have enormously long legs.  i remember being school age when "flood pants" were strictly forbidden, so if your pants did not drag over your shoes and on the ground you were subject to ridicule and the ongoing questioning, "are you expecting a flood.?" but if you went shopping for jeans with long legs they came attached to a pair of pants in the plus sizes since it seemed all the manufacturers assumed you were as wide as you were long!  so when i find jeans, however it is that i find them, and they fit!!!! ... i absolutely rejoice.  yesterday, i found a pair of eddie bauer jeans at a thrift mart, never been worn (obviously discarded by someone who tried them on a jillion times and they did not fit!) and when i took them to the dressing area to try them on, they spoke my name, fitted my form and so i had to bring them home for 2.50 cents! ... but now i want to go to their website and order every pair of their authentic denim, 5-pocket, boot cut jeans in my long and narrow size so i will never have to go shopping again!, some for my youngest and middle daughter and all my tall friends. 

kiss me in the rain:  well, so to speak ... though romantic in concept, it must be done within while the storms range without! we have finally had some rain, loud thunderous bouts of it!  it has been coming as predicted every afternoon and late night/wee hours for the last two days and should extend through the weekend.

translation:  the six catfish we were going to catch this weekend, will be twice as fat by next weekend, since they tend to feed lots!!!! on the blue gills and other such when the water is choppy and they feel less need to hide all day.  by evening, they are stuffed to the gills and wouldn't be interested in our bait even if we could get to our fishing spot between storms ... but next week ... they will be oh-so-hungry again!  it will be worth the wait.

things recommended never to shove up your arsh:  last night on a "medical miracles" type show they ran this kind of ongoing list of things never to shove up your rectum as if we all need a reminder list not to jam a flashlight up our rear!  in my nearly 20 years of medical dictation, i was thinking, gee… let me see what i could add to that list from my "gee i wish i never heard that archive!"  however, realizing, that's a "whole other can of blogs," i decided to keep this information to myself.  i think things like this go in the "if i told you, i'd have to kill you category," or if i told you, you'd feel compelled to wash your ears out with lava soap!
