Three new stooges
8/25/2011 9:32:41 AM
This is the best the GOP can do?

Some members of the GOP leadership are worried that none of the possible candidates so far can possibly beat Obama. Sure Perry's numbers are up lately, but give him a chance, and he'll threaten to bomb Washington DC. He's already denying he wrote FED UP! It's possible; we know Sarah Palin didn't write any of the books she got paid millions for.

Anyway those with the heavy bucks are trying to talk their boy Paul Ryan into running, and if he won't go for it, maybe Mitch Daniels of Indiana or Chris Christie of New Jersey will give it a go.

There's a reason to ride each of them out of their own individual states on a rail after tarring and feathering them first. Daniels was the first to take away bargaining priviledges for teachers, people whose toe nails he doesn't deserve to sweep up. Then he went and forfeited the money for Planned Parenthood. The statistics for single mothers are way down since PP started providing advice and help to young girls and even boys. What bothers Daniels and others is the religious nuts don't like the free condoms and especially the abortion help. That is unless they're pregnant with a baby as a result of incest or rape themselves. It's those other guys that are sinners.

Ryan is probably the worst of the bunch. He's suppposed to have an economic plan to save the country. One idea is to provide quotas for senior citizens to buy their own insurance instead of Medicare. Can you imagine what the insurance industry would do with that? They're already doing it to those of us poor suckers who are under 65. Perhaps even worse is Ryan's mandate for his staffers to read Ayn Rand. If you've read her books you know she had a serious problem with poor people dragging down the rich. The lazy no-good laggards expected a living wage. I'll dare them. This guy should be put on a ship, like Philip Nolan, and not allowed to touch land.

Chris Christie also seems to get a lot of play. One of the first things he did as governor was to break an agreement with New York City on a tunnel project the previous governor had agreed to. He complained that the state couldn't afford it. It couldn't afford not to build it. That's improving the infrastructure, something big business usually loves. Why do they tolerate this guy? Christie is another GOOP who hates teachers, despite the fact that they taught him how to read and write and do his figures, although not very well. The main problem he has with them is that they have a wonderful pension plan. Not as wonderful as the one he'll get when he retires, but wonderful just the same. Then there's the fact that most teachers are democrats and quite a few work for their candidates during the election. Oh, yeah, I forgot. They belong to powerful unions. The GOOPs hate unions. A Florida representive wrote a bill proposing we do away with child labor laws. I kid you not. You'll hear a lot more from Christie during the 2012 election. He's loud, very loud. He has a very large diaphragm from all the extra weight he carries around. They don't call this guy the wrecking ball for nothing.
